Favourite quotes...

I've decided on my second read of the Twilight series that I am going to type up all my favourites quotes as I go. :)

This could be a very long list, if I have too many I'll post them a few chapters at a time, or maybe even one chapter at a time. Which reminds me I'm also going to be doing a chapter by chapter write up with a song a chapter, sort of like TwilightGuy. It's not that I want to try and copy what he does but the whole idea of writing what you think of every chapter appeals to me a lot - I did that for Deathly Hallows last year and I ended up with like 14 pages of it. (Might post this on my other blog, AlwaysSilverDoe once I get it going).

I'd love to do the same for all the Twilight books too, then if I could get that done relatively quick, i.e. before Breaking Dawn then I could do the same for Breaking Dawn but on my first read, rather than second. :)

Anyhow, I'll start posting chapter reviews and favourite quotes soon! Keep checking back and don't forget to leave comments! :)

Until Breaking Dawn.

I can't wait.

It's actually keeping me awake.

I need to do some sort of countdown, although it will be based on the UK release, because, well, that's where I live so it kind of makes sense for me to count down to the release here.

I do already have some ideas for this countdown, I was thinking maybe 10 days would be enough.

Then of course, I'll post a blog after and talk about the book and what I liked and what I hated etc.

iTwilight?

I'm just debating whether or not I could fit Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse and Breaking Dawn onto my first generation iPod.

Probrably not.

Speaking of iPods, I'm sending mine off to be fixed...let's pray it's unfixable and they send a third generation one back? ;)

Three hours...to Wales...in a car. Oh well, if not I can read them instead. Either way, Twilight is going to Wales in August!

Edward will be happy though - what with all of the sheep you find in Wales... :)

Well I just finished Eclipse.

It's taken me three weeks nearly to get through all the books.

I can't believe that it's over for now.

I never want it to stop.

I feel like a Twilight-saga vampire - and the pages and the words are my blood...

I have been hunting humans and so far have claimed one victim - she is now in her own words:

"addicted to Twilight!"

I am moving in on my other victims, soon they will join the Twilight Army of Vampires...

All my hunting for Twilight photos has paid off - I now have over 200 images stored on my laptop. These are all on set photos, I haven't downloaded the promotional images from the official Twilight movie website yet. Yet being the right word...

I found this link the other night, but it's taken me two nights to download all the images - there are 111 incase you were wondering (saves you having to count them as well, if you're anything like me you won't want to miss a single one!)

I haven't download those 24 yet, I was having trouble with my save options - it would only let me download in .bmp or something like that and then the pictures were blank...

iClips.net?

So...Seth from the Stephenie Meyer website has updated the front page to announce that iClips.net will be broadcasting the Breaking Dawn Concert on August the 1st & 7th.

I have to admit I've never even heard of iClips before. I don't know how it works, but if I get to see the Breaking Dawn Concert it must be worth signing up for. Hopefully I shouldn't be working either of those two days so I should be able to watch. Should. Meaning my bad luck is like Bella and her accidents - unavoidable. It follows me around. No doubt I'll get called in because someone else is sick just before it starts.

Speaking of Breaking Dawn, I do believe it is only 38 days until we get it here - in the UK! I can't wait. I'm pretty sure that's the right date (4th of August). If anyone can confirm, please let me know! It's times like these I'm especially glad that I work in a bookshop. Because I'll be able to use my discount - all 12.5% of it. :)

When I sat down to make one title for my blog, I didn't realise how many options and different effects I could get by clicking on the "emboss" option. So here are the others I made as alternatives:

Introduction

I'm not particularly good at introductions (is anyone?), but I'll give it a go.

I first read Twilight just fifteen days ago. I've also read New Moon in those fifteen days, pre-ordered the paperback version of Eclipse, obsessively checked Stephenie Meyer's website, watched the Twilight trailer several times, the behind the scenes clips and hunted down movie stills like a blood thirsty vampire. And yet I still can't get enough.

Before reading Twilight I was a die-hard Harry Potter and refused to believe that there might be something better. I've now come to the conclusion that Twilight is not the next Harry Potter - it's just what follows it. Now the Harry Potter books are over, the characters have grown up and so have we, it's time to move on with the literary world too, and embark on a whole new series of books. Twilight is natural.

It's almost like when we finished that final page of Deathly Hallows and closed the book that we were bitten by a Laurent, Victoria or James, and transformed a few months later into Twilight fans.

So here I am, bitten, transformed and hooked on the blood which seeps out of the very pages of Twilight, the blood which sings to me and of which, is most definetly my brand of heroin.
